More than a chick-flick - Hitch Reviews

Anyone expecting a chick-flick go see something else. This movie has much more going for it than thirty women in a theatre about God knows what. Hitch is charming real and best of all it has a plot that reveals something about human nature. To top it off this movie is surprisinigly clean (an art that has been neglected of late). The story is genuine and enjoyable. The acting is superb (Eva Mendez is outstanding). The directing is good. And the film quality is high. Some of the camera shots would make Hitchcock proud. A must see for anyone possessing an even remotely romantic side.

Great great great movie !!!!!! - Hitch Reviews

This movie is one the most incredible movies I?ve ever seen in my life. It?s all about having a good relationship and love. Will Smith did a great job in this movie that you?ll never forget. It?s a funny movie and you?ll enjoy it. YEAH it?s worth it ;)

Hitch is the man - Hitch Reviews

Okay, I try to watch many Will Smith movies. This movie is the best with lots of laugher. The direction and acting in the movie are very funny. Albert was a funny character for messing around in the film. He tries to act neat to his woman of his dreams, Allegra, with the help of Hitch. My comments about Albert is that he's very funny, and acts weird. It's even a nice movie since Welcome to MoosePort. I give thumbs up for Will Smith for doing his hilarous acting. It's a romantic Will Smith comedy where you can date your girlfriend to see this and laugh. Ain't that romantic? Rated PG-13 for some strong language, and sexual reference

Very funny film - Hitch Reviews

Will Smith ius funny as hell in this film. This film shows the true difference of a man and woman. Ive always enjoyed battle of the sex jokes, which made this film funnier. Everyone should watch this film, you guys can find out who is better ,Man or Woman *cough 'man cough*

Great film on a difficult topic - Hitch Reviews

This film tackles the tough questions. It disguises itself as your standard boy-meets-girl entertainment but underneath it is a very interesting commentary on love. This film should be required coursework at any film school be it Casting 101 or Character-Driven Plot 799. The actors and actresses in this film, even the bit players, are superb. I'll start at the top. Will Smith is extraordinary. This film will not attract academy interest given the packaging ("Date Movie" or "Chick Flick") and that is a shame because he proves with this role that his name belongs at the top of the A list. At the risk of jumping on the juggernaut bandwagon that is the Eva Mendes spin machine; I further stipulate that she alone is worth the price of admission not just to see her lovely beauty but to watch her flawless performance. Kevin James is brilliant and proves his mettle as a multi-talented actor capable of holding his own in any scene. Amber Valleta is remarkable as Allegra Cole. Julie Ann Emery plays Casey, Mendes' best friend, with grace and style. At first glance this movie looks like another self-righteous commentary on what a "guy" should be. It might have an unfortunate appearance of bias versus men at the outset but, in no small part thanks to Smith and James, the writing and the plot make it way more poignant and ten times more interesting than your standard male-basher or wussy-man sap story. The ending drags on a bit with Smith and Mendes' denoument and it pulls an almost mean-spirited slight of hand but it makes up for it in good fashion (not grand fashion) after that with some truly entertaining closing moments. I can't say it is a must-see but if you want a different introspective into the human condition, a slightly alternate view of dating, or just a refreshing look at love in general, go see this film.

Will smith scores again - Hitch Reviews

Will Smith shines again in "HITCH". Playing the 'dating doctor', he advises his male clients in the fine arts of how to 'date' the women of their dreams. He makes all of us males wishe we had someone like him around when we were dating. His sauve, debonair manner is countered by Kevin James's nerdy CPA who's in love with his gorgeous, wealthy client (i.e. Amber Valetta). Needless to say, he needs a lot of help and Will is their to coach him through the treacherous waters of dating. But things turn upside down when Smith meets the girl of his dreams. From suave to 'shmuck' in one date. He becomes the klutzy, ungainly male who becomes tongue tied and stupid over the girl he loves. The movie succeeds on two levels. It is a riot. You'll laugh until it hurts watching scenes of Smith and James dancing and "kissing". And you'll hurt for him when things go awry. See the movie, you'll enjoy the laughs and walk out feeling better than when you went in. And what more do you want from a romantic comedy.

The critics are idiots - Hitch Reviews

I just saw Hitch in a packed NY City theater last night. I almost pee'd in my pants, and the whole audiance was in hysterics. The theater applauded at the end of the movie. The script, acting and sharp direction of Hitch are enough to make you downright angry at most movie makers these days. Most of them suck, have no imagination and rely on gimics to try to steal a few quick laughs. Hitch reminded me of a classic Hollywood movie, that relies on good acting and direction with brillian execution. No gimics. No bad language, no nudity, no cheap shots, just extremely good fun. Great date movie. The critics don't get it, which is too bad for them. But definately go see it.

Romantic comedy fit for both men and women. - Hitch Reviews

Hitch is about a man who knows what works with women and teaches the guys who do not do well with them some tricks of the trade. Actually, he more or less walks them through it. Hitch guarantees success up until the dreaded 3rd date kiss. After that, they are on their own. Of course, Hitch finds a girl who he falls for and everything that he thinks he knows does not work out for himself, when following the same guidelines. The movie was a well-written romantic comedy which both guys and girls could have a fun time watching. Perfect for Valentine's Day, which I'm sure was no marketing coincidence it was released on Valentine's Day weekend. Will Smith is perfect as Hitch. His performance here reminded me of a more mature, possibly grown up Fresh Prince Of Bel Air. He was the smooth talker and was able to read any situation for himself or his clients to make a memorable impression, then have a memorable date with the women his clients are affectionate towards. Sounds a little sleazy, but Hitch has his own rules. He does not help out the guys who want to "Hit it and quit it", so to speak, only those who really seem to like or love the woman they are after. One thing the film never gets into is what Hitch makes for a job like this, as I wonder how much something like that could be worth in monetary value. Eva Mendes plays Sara, Hitch's love interest. She does quite a good job in her role here. Sara is the type of girl who is always on the defense when approached by men, therefore, is leery of any advances. Hitch reads her well and makes his way in, until she discovers what is is he actually does. For some reason, women tend to take offense to his "job". Kevin James is also perfect as Albert, a man who is in love with a rich woman named Allegra Cole, but she does not know he exists. His expressions of nervousness and fright are hilarious. Heck, the movie is just a darn good one. Nothing too offensive, a bad word here or there but nothing major. I do not think it warrants it's PG-13 rating, but a plain old PG would be fine for me. Regardless of it's rating, I can honestly recommend Hitch to just about anyone and Will Smith rarely disappoints.

Hitch - Hitch Reviews

This movie was a great movie! All of the actors and actresses who played in this movie fit togather in a perfect fit. The story was not the best but the director picked a good team. This is probably the best movie of its type and it is laugh out loud hilarious. At the end, the audience clapped. Now how often does that happen? Not very often. If ytou want to see a comedy, Hitch should be the #1 choice.

Hitch[ed]: how to get - Hitch Reviews

This movie says what 10 million "good guys" want to say to the girl of their dreams. This is for every guy who has ever wanted a girl he felt he couldn't have. You hold a girl in high respect, but are terrified of the prospect of showing them your feelings. For single guys, it is a nostalgic wish of a movie, for committed guys it is a sweet example of how life works out, and for married guys it has absolutely no value other than being the romantic comedy it is. As Roger Ebert put it, "it's a great movie to rent next Valentine's Day." I would heartily agree with that assessment. The story was classic, if cliched. The actors pulled off their roles sufficiently, and Will Smith did an excellent job of playing the ultimate "metrosexual"; as much as anything he helps the movie garner the B+ I gave it. The direction was adequate, certainly nothing memorable, and the scenes and repartee of the actors, as well as the stunt scenes, make the visuals entertaining. I would go see this movie in the theater again, and this time I will see it with the "girl of my dreams".

Totally predictable but still fun - Hitch Reviews

There wasn't a single thing in this movie that you couldn't see coming a mile away, and on top of that, it was totally unrealistic. That being said, still a very funny movie and great to take a date to. Recomended, but definetly wait for the dvd or cable - no need to see this on the big screen.

The fresh prince meetsthe king of queens - Hitch Reviews

The idea of these sitcom stars working togehter was awesome. In Hitch, Will Smith truly plays a matured and adult version of his fresh prince charecter. As for Kevin James, this role fits him perfectly. The addition of Eva Mendes as Will Smith's love interest was very nice. Go watch this movie, ignore the critics!

Great! funny movie!!! - Hitch Reviews

I loved this movie! It was so great and VERY FUNNY! Definitely a feel good movie! Men and Women will like it both. It's a romantic comedy, but not a super corny one where guys would dread it. I went to the premier last night and the whole theater was laughing together. THUMBS UP FOR SURE!

@~~~!must read review!~~~@ - Hitch Reviews

I see a lot of movies, actually, I saw 53 last year alone and looking to break that record this year. Hollywood seems to be running out of ideas, but this was a classic idea and a great movie. Like most movies, this one needed a little work around the edges, but don't they all! Will Smith has always been a great sci-fi actor and proved that he could do more then save the world from aliens. The only thing that kept the overall at an A- and not an A; was the fact that I thought it would be a little funnier than it actually was, but it was still a good LOL movie. Hope this helped

Not as bad as critics say! - Hitch Reviews

C+?? are you kidding me? i have seen HORRIBLE movies that were given a better grade than that! i guess "The Wedding Date" left a sour taste in the critics' mouths, because Hitch was actually a really good movie! Okay, there were some cheesy parts, but right now i can only think of 2. i guess the worst part of the entire movie is when this random guy compares Will's love life to playing pool. It was bad because the guy was bad at acting...ugly too. But that's not the point. The point is that the critics gave it a C+ so I was expecting a pretty 'whatever' movie, know what I mean? But when i went to watch it, I was pretty amazed at how fun Hitch was. It wasn't boring in ANY part, and the story was gooood. I loved that guy from Queen of Kings, or King of Queens...whatever, i loved him. Hilarious! And the ending part was pretty funny too. So if you're into these kinds of movies, but the critics are wavering your decision of watching it, just go watch it. It was good. Pretty good actually. It put me in a good mood. A pretty good mood. And now i will shutup so you can get ready to go to the theatres, ok?

A people, not a critics movie-- --thank goodness!! - Hitch Reviews

AS I grow older it becomes more apparent that critics wish movies to "educate" when most filmgoes wish movies to entertain. I couldn't agree more that this movie does not educate the masses on such topics as Iraq, AIDS or the plight of the children in Latin America--IT DOES NOT HAVE THAT IMPORT-- ITS A MOVIE!!! This movie was sweet, funny and entertaining-- Will Smith gets better as an actor each time he is on screen and--- there was definitely a touch of Cary Grant in this happy affair-- no one got killed - no special effects- no rip on the President- a classic boy meets girl movie with a wonderfully modern feel - Everyone in the theater laughed at the right moments and after it was over, spoke in the aisles to each other as to how much fun this movie was-- This movie was not a critics movie it was a people movie-----for once------Thank Goodness!!! Thank you Will and All for entertaining my family by acting-- -- what a curious notion as to try not to inform the poor working masses on the outside on those subjects that REALLY MATTER!!!!!

This is 1 of the funniest movies of all time!!! - Hitch Reviews

I waited 'till the 6th week to see this film cause I don't like over crowded theaters. Still I ended up in a theater that was almost full and I know why. The audience was falling out of their seats what amazing performances by Smith, and James. The director did an amazing job as well. In particular the trailer didn't have all the best parts and some of the funniest stuff was saved for the the end of the movie after the climax to leave everyone in stiches instead of crying. There was one scene where james was walking Amber to to the door after their date and the thought of gatting the first kiss was tourmenting him. The facial expressions on Amber (happy that she had a good time) and James (walking down death row not having a clue where he'd muster the courage to make a move). How many regular guys would feel the same way if faced with making the first move on a supermodel??? Although James and surprisingly Amber were great Smith was the one that made this film truley great. He seriously nailed his role and his dialog throughout the film was tremendous. I'd recomend this film to everyone and especially anyone that has high hopes of meeting the woman of their dreams, falling in love, and living happily ever after. Outstanding effort.

Give me more, more and more. - Hitch Reviews

Sure it's a feel good movie. Sure it's a predictable romantic comedy. That's just fine with me because that's what I went to see. No false advertisement here. I believe the filmmakers made the movie they set out to make and THAT is a rarity. Will Smith is funny and absolutely charming as Alex Hitchens (Hitch), a consultant (known to some as "the date doctor") who helps men meet and court the women of their dreams. The supporting cast is very good as well. Eva Mendes is just as charming as the gossip columnist out to expose the date doctor. Kevin James is hilarious and adorable as well. I highly recommend this movie IF you like enjoyable and entertaining films.

Makes you want to get hitch-ed - Hitch Reviews

Makes you Want to Get Hitch-ed Hitch Starring: Will Smith Directed by: Andy Tennant What?s It About: Alex Hitchenson (folks call him Hitch) is New York?s ?date doctor? ? he?s the man who can help you land the girl of your dreams with his friendly advice and slight manipulation of situations to get you noticed. As Hitch tries to set up his most improbable match ever, he finds himself losing his smooth edge as he tries to woo a woman who has caught his eye. The Good: Hitch is a funny movie, overall. It won?t be an instant ?classic?, but it?s a cute date movie and warrants a chuckle from time to time. The most notable characteristic of the movie is that every single person in the film was thoroughly enjoying themselves. When that shows so clearly, you can?t help but smile and laugh along with them. Standing out of course is Will Smith, who fits perfectly into this role, even if it is pretty straight forward. Also, the movie is fairly well ?set? ? the characters are moving around New York a lot and it gives a very realistic feel to the whole overall plot. The Bad: There is a certain formula to romantic comedies and it?s beginning to become a little stale. Hitch definitely has that higher level of predictability, so at certain times the audience is just kind of waiting for that to pass in the hopes that something new and fresh will occur. This usually does happen in the form of original jokes, situations and dialogue?but the problem actually lays in that a lot of these scenes and sequences have already been given away in previews. Movie-goers who see this ?fresh? will probably enjoy it a lot more overall. Also, not that it was formulaic ? but the ending was dragged out and included too many unnecessary scenes. Recommendation: If you have a date, go see this. Both guys and girls will this because it?s high on both the ?cool/funny? and ?cute? factor. This is a true Valentine?s Day movie, and it?s a fine watch overall. Trivia Eva Mendes claims she had to spend WAY too much time in the Hudson River and it smells just as bad as you can imagine. You?ll Like This If you Liked: You?ve Got Mail (1998), Sweet Home Alabama (2002), In Good Company (2005) Rating: 8 out 10

A valentine's day hit(ch)! - Hitch Reviews

One of the better surprises of the year. "Fresh Prince" Will Smith, and "King of Queens" Kevin James easily sets the tone for, clearly, one of this year's best upbeat romantic comedy. Funny, romantic, this movie succeeds by making the audience easily relate to the main casts - whom are all very identifiable. Suprisingly, this movie will appeal to even us men. The basis of the movie covers the DO's and DON'Ts of dating, yet the movie's theme strongly encourages a healthy, strong, and good relationship, and gives better respect and greater appreciation to the opposite sex - something hardly seen in movies nowadays. Not the typical lovey-dovey chick-flick stereotypical for women, or the ultra slap-stick corny comedy stereotypical for men, but a nice yet perfect combination of both. Hitch is the perfect Valentines flick for any couple wanting to have a good night at the movies - an instant hit. Time to get Hitch. Happy Valentines Day.

A++++ one of the best romantic-comedies i've seen - Hitch Reviews

Although I don't necessarily think it's Oscar-worthy, I think it gives very wise ideas about dating do's and don'ts and IMO is one of the only movies that has a relatively realistic outlook on relationships and dating. (I wouldn't be mad if it did get an Oscar) I was clueless about women, and I purchased this online book and cds from a "date dr.", and I have found it verrry useful and workable in the real world. I have much better success now w/ women. This movie seemed to be the BIOGRAPHY of this guy and his techniques. I'd wager that some guys that don't like the movie, don't understand these principles, that are also portrayed in the movie, and probably aren't that successful w/ women. To those who think what Will's character is doing is "wrong", just like in the movie, I think it's more of a positive intention than anything. People aren't taught these things in school...it's something we have to learn, usually on our own, and people like Will's character are just pointing them in the right direction.

Really funny - Hitch Reviews

I figured this movie would have some funny moments, but I was astounded that it was almost a laugh-a-minute. Sure the story is completely predictable, but the fun is in actually seeing the characters play it out. It doesn't matter that you pretty much know what's going to happen next, it's funny anyway. The acting was pretty good as well. Smith has always consistently been able to deliver lines that have the maximim laugh-factor. That guy from King of Queens will probably always play the fumbling big guy who is too nice for words, but he does it well. Eva Mendez is an ok actor, and she did a decent job. I thought her character was not written nearly as well as the others, sometimes I had trouble believing her. Direction was pretty standard comedy affair. A few visual gags here and there, but for the most part, this movie relied on the dialogue. Visuals were crisp and to the point, no real special effects save for one. The makeup on Smith after he ingested a food he was allergic to was great. It looked realistic and he reacted to it in a realistic manner. Smith earns even more respect by allowing himself to be shown looking that bad. Overall, it is a cute feel good movie with a lot of humor (both physical and mental). There is no sex, and virtually no violence. The language is a little abrasive, maybe even for a PG-13. Good watch.

The movie to see this weekend - Hitch Reviews

Hitch is a great movie to take your significant other to see as the light-hearted comedy delivers lots of laughs and funny moments all in the name of love. Will Smith is well.. himself in terms of the performance in the movie - funny, women will find him charming and sexy, etc. I felt there was good chemistry in the movie between the characters of Smith and James as well as Smith and Mendes. In my opinion (and my wife's as well) the best performance in the film goes to Kevin James. A lot of critics both professional and otherwise have given mixed reviews because they have done just that - nitpicking at the story, the writing, or some other aspect of the film. The best way to enjoy this movie is to go to see it without over-analyzing it. It's a date movie, it's a chick flick, it's great for Valentine's Day weekend - pick your cliche. Hitch is all of the aforementioned and thus comes recommended as the movie to go see this weekend.

Totally unexpected - Hitch Reviews

When I went into this movie I was expected a routine romantic comedy, that would be equally as funny as the previews. But I was wrong. This movie was so much more. I was literally crying from laughter. This was by far the best romatic comedy to come out in a while. The performances were all very sweet, and funny, especially by Kevin James, and they were was just too many jokes to keep track off. This is probably the funniest film since Bringing Down The House, and its just what Hollywood needs so close to Valentines day. This film packs a riot, and it has a very sweet charm to it. I think evryone should see it, because I cant wait to see it again.

Critics are wrong about "hitch" - Hitch Reviews

Pros: Weel directed, good chemestry between characters, and very funny: Cons: It has some bad moments dispersed throughout. "Hitch" hits where most miss. This is above the average romantic comedy. There are a few scary seconds in the beginning of ?Hitch? where Will Smith stares into the camera and speaks to the audience. This is the laziest element a writer or director could ever dream of putting in a film. 2000?s High Fidelity is a perfect illustration of how wrong that practice really is. One of the purposes of watching a film is to be shown a story. Show us, don?t tell us. Narration works well in books (and even in films) but doesn?t translate well into a movie when they use a talking head staring you in the face, spouting off his or her thoughts. Thankfully for this movie, it stops shortly after it begins, as if the filmmakers knew they were making a mistake. The main problem with these romantic comedies, besides knowing how they will end of course, is that if you have seen one, you?ve pretty much seen them all. Recently, films like the tedious ?How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days? or the pitiful ?Love Don?t Cost a Thing? tackled the same ground that this film does, but unlike those two films, ?Hitch? does a fine job of staying away from an overage of boredom and sentimentality while providing a good mix of laughter along the way. Chemistry amongst the characters also plays a big part here. Remember how awful Matthew McConaughey and Jennifer Lopez were in The Wedding Planner? What about Benjamin Bratt and Halle Berry in Catwoman? In this film, Will Smith works well with Eva Mendes. He also makes a great team with Kevin James, and James himself (even though he is once again playing along the lines of his sitcom character Doug) is out to prove that he can make it on the big screen. While he does crack on himself about his weight for the point of making the audience laugh, he doesn?t overdo it like Chris Farley. The foulest thing about these types of films is that real life never offers us these perfect love/relationship scenarios that they suggest. Perhaps that is the reason these stories do so well, especially among the female audience. With ?Hitch? however, the movie is too much fun for you to even care about the improbability of this circumstance.

A chick flick for guys (too). - Hitch Reviews

The dreaded chick flick has been redone for men. Yes, the basic storyline is pure, sappy, romantic, dreck. But, the entire movie has been steeped with crazy slapstick, zany scheming, and infectious performances by likable actors. The things these guys get themselves into are laugh out loud funny. If you like classic comedies, like Top Secret, Naked Gun, and the like, then you will like this movie. It's in the same spirit, thought it doesnt go that far off the deep end (perhaps to stay palatable to the mass audience), but close. Sorry if that seems vague, but I dont want to ruin it for you. See it, you'll enjoy yourself, and your date will too.

Don't miss your date with hitch! - Hitch Reviews

Coming back from a late-night showing of this movie and I am excited, amazed, and still stuck in the movie. I knew the movie would probably be funny, but this surprised me. I was caught up in the characters, laughed at every funny part you could think of, and I wasn't the only one. Throughout and by the end of, the movie, the entire audience applauded. Some of it was kinda "cute" or "chickflick," but that only made the movie better and added alot of comedy into it. I loved every minute and would definitely see it again.

The apology - Hitch Reviews

This movie is a public apology by Will Smith to all his adoring fans that says..."Forgive Me for I, Robot!" I loved this movie!!! From the opening credits to the closing, I was laughing all through. Although the premise was a 'chick flick' this movie appeals to all ages and genders, there was something in there for everyone. It was drama, comedy, some violence.. hehehe, and romance interwoven by the writer so flawlessly that it was fun to watch. The cast had great chemistry, the combination of James, Smith and Mendez was great. The sparks between Mendez and Smith were really firing, and even though she was a total B* you still wanted them to get together, all because Hitch was endearing. Kevin James...I didn't even know he could act! He plays the bumbling man that falls in love with NY's elite, and is desperate for some advice. He pulled his part together with perfection and managed to tie most of the pivotal scenes in the movie together quite nicely. I cannot imagine another actor to play his part. Most of the 'love lines' in this movie where true, however, have all those stats been really verified? 8/10 women expect the 1st kiss to tell them everything...yeah right. Some of the advice to men was great advice, I wonder if anyone actually will pick up on that? Will Smith epitomized the role of the Date Doctor. The playboy turned starcrossed lover turned man whose world collapses around him was a bit of a stretch but he pulled it off. Add to that, he is naturally funny, and delivers his lines with such suave charm that makes you want to melt. Eva Mendez managed to fill very large shoes as the cynic in every woman, but still bewitches the greatest cynic of all. I didn't like the fact that she was ruthless and judgemental, and rushed the story to the press without any verification; but when she wasn't being bitter, she was actually quite nice. She was confident and savvy, and took no prisoners. In a way, she was the villian in this piece even though they pointed the blame to that egomaniacal Vince stock broker dude. The visual shots were great...it was shot in NY, but a clean NY:) with nice clean yellow cabs. Beautiful shots of the city, Times Square, the pier, Ellis Island were all exquisitely protrayed, and the architecture at the train station was amazing. Good Lord, I loved each and every apartment. It's hard to believe that such wide expanse of space is available in NY for rent. Hitch's apt. was off the hook, showing his work, functionality as well as his unique taste in Grecian art. Mendez' apt. was bright and sunny which contrasted to the hard edge she originally protrayed to the world. This movie was a comedy as well as a metaphor. Women tend to sabotage great relationships in the interest of protecting their hearts, while guys never really get what women want or need. But when Cupid's arrow strikes, men and women really do speak the same language. I definitely recommend this movie to everyone who liked Bridget Jones' Diary, Something about Mary, Pretty Woman, You've got Mail, Notting Hill. As for Will Smith...apology accepted:)

Love cynics hate hitch but true romantics believe - Hitch Reviews

It's about time the multiplex features a romantic comedy with a multi-cultural cast. As a New Jersean, I can honestly say Hitch did for New York what Pretty Woman did for Rodeo Drive. The city is appealing, the premise is intriguing and the acting quite wonderful. Only lovelorn prudes that have no hope of a great sex life could hate this movie. Now I?m not saying the movie is perfect? as a matter of fact the last act seemed a bit little rushed. Alex?s epiphany about love and his feelings for Sara seems incomplete. Is it me or did the director leave some film pieces on the editing room floor? But even with that said, it?s a romantic movie that will have men alert enough to have an intelligent conversation afterward. Don?t believe what the sour critics say about this movie ? besides are any of them single in the current dating world? I believe most of them are either married or so hopelessly ridged in their solitary life that they wouldn?t recognize dating for middle classed professionals people if it was on a screen in front of them. Will Smith enters a wonderful genre as Alex "Hitch" Hitchens, a professional dating consultant, and he is properly showcased with great cast mates - Eva Mendes (Sara), Kevin James (Albert), and Amber Valletta (Allegra). If Smith continues to stretch his talents in this arena I'm sure we?ll see a great Tom Hanks, Sleepless in Seattle performance in the future. Hitch is a movie that makes single people and new couples alike believe in finding love in this cynical world. It's worth the price of admission.
